OK well since ive installed the manifold and done some driving, the car feels more responsive. it feels a bit more alive above 4k rpms but im not saying its a night and day difference.i really wouldnt think it loss any torque but im not going to say it gained any. the car does as i said fell smoother through out the power band. but no real WOW factor. then again i knew this but really only replaced the manifold as a preventative replacement over the stock plastic one. fit and finish? well its a satin manifold no wow factor there either but i can care less i like the way it looks satin looks more factory and less maintenance. it also brought all new hardware and a new plenum gasket. over all ill give it an 7 out of 10 just for the fact that you need cams to be able to take full advantage of the manifold but aside from that i have no complains.

Thanks for the review dude! I have the polished version of that manifold and it looks really sweet. However, it doesn't meet emissions standards where I live...

I found it on froogle for a steady $600, I would be willing to part with mine (brand new, never used, but no gaskets or bolts, lost them in a move... somehow... ok, i didn't loose them the girlfriend did) for around $500 shipped. If anyone is interested shoot me a pm with an offer.

And to the OP, where did you get it for that price? A private sell? For that price I would actually buy one of them.
Yes, you do lose a little power with a stock cammed car. The intake utilizes a different RPM range to make power, so the h/c/i setup is not all in agreement with each other...thats a bad thing if you want to make power.

looks nice nerd hope that works well for you. so far im happy with the typhoon seems to be working just fine. like i said car feels a lot smoother up top and doesnt seem to be gasping when coming close to 6k rpms.i will be installing my full exhaust soon and tuning this puppy with special forces and hope to see it wake up a bit more. im running mac long tubes with custom 3 inch collectors a 3 inch spin-tech x-pipe to 3 inch flowmaster super 40s dumped down for now. i know its 3 inch but i got it all for free off a wrecked super charged gt. would've gotten the charger also but the owner took that off before giving the car to the insurance so it wasnt on the stang when my cousin bought it for parts.

Yeah... even cool kids have weak moments... I bought the Proproducts Fuel rail kit and it doesn't work with the Edelbrock intake. So now I had to buy the Edelbrock fuel rails. (which doesn't bother me cause they are Sex!!!)

After every thing is said and done with the edelbrock intake I have $480 into the intake and parts needed. And of course, I got to get away from the stock design and it should help out my maxed out blower in the 6k+ range.

Just a little, lol. I was told by a guy on sn95 forums he used his stock hood without modification.
