Exclamation pypes x-pipe install help!

Hi,
I just got a new old xfm-16s it the o/r x-pipe made out of 304 stainless and it's a two piece.
I put the drivers side downtube on loose and hook up the rest of the pipe all loose and it seams that it is about an inch to long for My Magnaflow cat-back!!!!

Do I need to take off My cat-back exhaust and re-install it to get it to work???

Thanks in advanced for Your reply.

should all go together man. take a second look and figure it out. you might have to adjust your cat back if its the bolt in style cat back.. that's what I had to do.

If your system fit like the one I had for my V6 mustang when I went to dual exhaust you will need to trim about 1-2" off on the non flared ends. I had to do that to get them to fit without bowing down towards the ground or pushing my exhaust so far back the rear hangers wouldn't fit.
