Default which gauge wire (battery box)

im trying to order a battery relocation kit; do i buy the 1 gauge wire or 2 gauge?

Actually, nothing really wrong with that kit. However, there are kits out there that have better looking batterry boxes. But, that is all up to personal preference I suppose. As far as quality and functionality the Summit kit will get the job done.

It cost more then the one I posted

You have to drill your own holes for the cables and vent

It's plastic and not aluminum which means to be legal you have to make a firewall behind the back seat

It looks like garbage, my friend has it in his jet boat.

do you have to extend the ground all the way back to the battery? the cord for the ground looks short so what do you so with the ground?

The battery gets grounded in the trunk. Nothing goes up to the front except the positive wire.
