I purchased a 2001 Cobra front bumper for my Mustang, along with a Mach 1 grill delete. I noticed that the Cobra bumper already has the lower part of the grill delete molded into it. At this point I figured "Oh I guess on a Cobra that must be painted black" but when I looked it up on the internet I saw that it is body color. Which would you prefer, painted in black or body color?

i like the body color better. when i install mine i am contemplating painting it to match. I think it has a cleaner look when painted.

i had the mach delete before i put my cobra bumper on. looks way better glossy black than it did the flat matte black type color.

sounds like you should be asking yourself this question. Body color just means one more thing to wax. Are you going for a yellow/black theme? if not id say body color!
