Default need ECU

I just had a brand new stock 2V 4.6 installed in my 2003 GT w/ a Bullitt intake manifold and a Vortech (blew the old one). No intercooler right now, but I am going to be getting one in the summer when i start working. On the old motor she put 430 to the wheels, but the tune was a mail-tune from Steeda. Apparently, from what ive been told by several shops, is that they can't make a custom tune for the car because she ECU has been flashed/burned/whatever they call it, even though i have an Xcal 3 handheld tuner. So instead of just dealing with all that i want to buy a regular/not messed with 2003 GT ECU with a stock tune so i can get a custom tune done to tune it better until i get that intercooler. anyone know where i can find a ECU? (preferably a used one unless theyre reasonably cheap new)

thanks a bunch

Delta Force (formerly Sniper) could get that back to stock for you, they are the only system that guarantees that capacity. You might want to give then a call and see what they'd charge.

The other possibilities I'd search are junk yards (Prestige Mustang is a good vendor) and eBay.

One other thing, PATS depends on a PCM and instrument cluster that are mated by a common security code--if you only change one you'll have to have a Ford dealer macth them up again, or disable PATS in the tune...
