From what i have been told there is a spray adhesive they can use. Apparently they put the tint on, then pull it back where the dot matrix is and use the spray. it just isnt that common because of the difficultly and time consumption, i assume.

My shop was able to tint the Dot Matrix as well, no problems whatsoever. It took me a bit to fit a good shop to do the tint to start with. Most shops around here do LOUSY work. Air bubbles, gaps, etc...

I got mine tinted over the dots and it stuck just fine. You can't even tell either
