That's your IAC that making your car idle crazy and has nothing to do with your EGR.

You can try taking it off and cleaning but you may just end up replacing it anyway.

Ok I made my self a block-off plate for the Intake Plenum. There are 3 lines that are left once you remove the EGR itself and the black plastic stuff close to the firewall. Do you plug all the 3 lines or what??? I blocked the one that is drawing air or vaccuum. Any help???

Why didn't you take off the pipe?

If you left it there then yes, just plug them.

The first EGR delete I made, I used a piece of Flat stock tripped two holes and gasket paper. I plugged the Exhaust port with a BRASS 5/8 NPT Cap.

Well, the easiest way is to drop the H-pipe and unbolt it from the exhaust manifold.

When I was doing it, I couldn't break it free so I cut it out with a small hack saw then used a 1/2" drive ratchet and breaker bar, lol. Have fun and don't expect it to be a half hour job.

I took everything that has to deal with the EGR off the car, the pipe, EGR, and ect...
There are only three lines left: one hooked up on top of the EGR and two ran to the junk next to the firewall.
