Default my 4.10 gears are finally getting put in!!!1

I am really excited to feel the difference this is the first car i have ever upgraded any thing in the rear end . i get it back later today or tomorrow . and i still have yet to try the nitrous waiting on smaller jets for it, also what am i going to need besides the little plastic gear for the speedo to work right and for the computer to shift right? i now i can manually shift my seflf and leave over drive off. but is it really gonna affect the shift points big time?

You will love it and your mod bug will never end my friend I don't think speedo plastic gear will be accurate. Most of us end up buying a SCT tuner to adjust speedo and other engine characteristics such as advancing timing, etc. Unless you go with Nitrous I believe you will have to retard your timing so in the end your car will not be as fast on a daily basis unless you get two tunes.

He has a '96, so he has to get the gear to correct the speedo.

I get about the same mileage I had with my old gears. id much rather have a 1-2 MPG less highway and have more fun accelerating. Gotta pay to play!

Either way the OP will love them!
