did you even read what i posted?

"I did step up to HIDs after i wrecked it...got covers instead of clear corner lights, so i got HID heads and fogs "

the covers are quite a bit darker than clear corner lights, and i didnt know for sure that i needed them, but insurance wrote me a check for 1400 dollars more than im having my car repaired for, so i decided to go in a different direction...i put my stock lights back in with the black sticker that covers the amber section, and then im putting covers over them because i want them darker than my clear corner smoked lights were... i bought HIDs because i went with covers

even if i was running stock headlights, HIDs would be nice to have, but not a necessity...but im not going on necessity, i got HIDs, my fender badges are being shaved, my decklick badge and keyhole are being shaved....i didnt "need" any of that

HIDs + covers = same cost as smoked clear corners

HID + covers = darker tint and more light than smoked clear corners with stock bulbs

it was win win...and i obv. cant reuse this

i have the smoked ones from AM, with old *** stock bulbs, ill admit, its not the best visibility out of a headlight ive ever had, but all i did was get a cheap set of fogs and slap em on and voila, instant solution.

BTW 99BlackPonyGT, i like your sig, sweet chop! What part of Ohio you from? I live in Northeast ohio.

np man

if you sign up, make sure to post pics of the car, and introduce yourself and say a little about urself...cant get into the sight unless you get good rep, and you wont get good rep with a bad intro... its like tossing a mouse into a snake pit, sign up is rough...its like that on purpose, so just play along, theyre gonna try and **** you off on purpose, shrug it off lol

we got 3 other rentals coming up this year...next one is dragway 42 this summer

the other 2 are unannounced so far

i'll have to take a close picture of mine... they guy i bought them from only sold 1 pair, who knows where he got them from but i bought them for $80 shipped... they aren't the same ones as AM, the might be, just tinted or something... you cant even see my clearcorners... on the typical AM ones you can... maybe then next time i come to Columbus we will meet up and shoot some pics...
