Default smoked headlight question

Hey! just got my smoked headlights in today but the damn thing are to dark to let the light through even with the brighter bulbs that came with them. They look badass but at night i couldnt see ten feet in front of me any suggestions how to make them brighter?

Get HID's. Use the search and you will find a **** load of threads about HID's, what bulbs to get, and where to get them.

+1. In my opinion, HIDs are a must with smoked headlights. I can't even imagine having halogen bulbs behind my smoked headlights.

please tell me you adjusted them? they aim right at the ground when you purchase them...i figured this out when i picked them up and then went out that night and couldnt see ****... adjusted them up and they work great, with just stock bulbs

all of you guys who "need" HIDs to see through smoked headlights, are ****ing blind...please dont drive on the same road as me...shoot me a PM before you come to ohio and cruise the streets...

heres my visibility with the smoke cleared...you only get like a second of looking forward at the end...you can pause it and get the picture...this was taken with a digital camera, so its ****y quality...nothing compared to HIDs, but in no way is it not enough light to drive with

99, You may be able to see, but I truly believe you are in the minority. I couldn't see s*** at night with my stock headlights and that seems to be the consensus with almost all mustang drivers. Having smoked housings made it just that much worse. Sure, I could drive at night with my stock bulbs, but there is no way I would want to.

wtf am i the only one who is able to see with my car? even the poor quality video shows that theres plenty of light (for me atleast...)

maybe im just used to driving cars with ****ty head lights and so i dont notice?

my moms mazda has HIDs, and i can definately tell a difference there...my f150 has ****ty headlights, theyre stock but i think i need to aim them up...

maybe my eyes are more sensitive to light or something, i was actually more than happy with my visibility, my stang showed more light than any of my other cars have (ive gone through 4 others in the last year...i get bored)

i did step up to HIDs after i wrecked it...got covers instead of clear corner lights, so i got HID heads and fogs

I'm still running stock bulbs. I've never had a problem with visibility, and I DO have vision problems enough to need glasses.

Ya'll must be blind.
