Default Taking on 300rwhp 240SX

Ok boys.. My mods are a Steeda-Tri Ax Short throw, BBK LTs, BBK catted h-pipe, and 275s out back. My friend has a early 90s Nissan 240SX.. the engine is forged and in 700 miles he is turboing it.. his goal is 300rwhp. He'll probably have the turbo in come july. What would be some good mods to take him on? I know forced induction or nitrous, but any other suggestions? Perhaps less than $2,000?

do some rear gears...a set of 3:73s are good all around..or 4 10's if you want to straight up rape, but suck wind when gas mileage is a concern...id also consider a lower intake...topped off with athrottle body and plenum....then if you haev some left over, do cams and a cold air....the gears will run about 500 installed...the lowerintake plus the plenum and thorttle body, and possibly cold air depending on the brands you get will run you about 1000, and the cams and misc parts like labor and a tune will be about 1000 so thats about 2500 bucks worth o options

Gears are definitely a good place to start. From there I'd probably go with a nice nitrous set up with all the goodies and a dyno tune to get the most out of it. Maybe a couple bucks towards some suspension mods (UCA,LCA,subframe connectors, springs) cause regardless of how much power you have, if you can't put it to the ground it's pointless.

Screw the bolt ons and go straight to f/i. The only other thing you should do if on a budget is gears imo. With 2000$ you can easily buy a new nitrous kit or a used blower kit, you just have to shop around.

if you shop smart, then you should be able to get a used nitrous kit for under 1000, and a good single nozzle kit for around 12-1300 if you peice it togethor right. for a 100shot you wont need a tune, and you will rape him from a roll, might need some stickys for a dig

No doubt nitrous>blower in hp to $ invested. I think i didnt make it clear in my last post that nitrous would be the cheapest way but he could also invest a little more money and buy a used blower .

To beat a 300rwhp 240 just get some nitrous and gears. 1500 bucks and you still got 500 bucks to go buy a new tv lol.
