I was under the assumption that because the O2 sensors are furthur downstream that you needed a tune to change that value that triggers that. Also, I would assume with a full exhaust and CAI, TB and Plenum I should get a tune to get the biggest bang. If I didn't don't you think I would be running a bit lean?

There should be a selection in the sct tuner to turn off the test cycle for the o2s. I know the diablo and sniper has it I just never played with my sct. Running leaner is better for power. The stock tune is very rich. Your mods will barely effect the a/f ratio.
