2V gurus chime in!
I'm asking this on behalf of a buddy of mine, I have my guess but who better to ask then the guys who do this everyday. He owns an auto '96 mustang GT which at this moment has SLP x-pipe, lightweight driveshaft, catback and 3.73s. His engine was rebuilt right before he bought it 2 years ago and the tranny way rebuilt sometime after that. He's about to put some PI heads from a '00 GT and also add intake, throttle body, plenum, throttle body spacer and pullies. Now he thinks he will put down about 290-300whp and around 310-320wtq. What do you guys think? Any guesses?
Short and sweet:
'96 auto GT+3.73s+cai+throttle body+plenum+spacer+PI heads+X-pipe+catback+droveshaft+pullies=???whp and ???wtq.

Gears add nothing.
CAI maybe 5
pullies 5
TB&P 10
driveshaft adds nothing (okay, less rotating mass may help rev quicker but I dont think it will add any HP at least nothing noticable)
With the PI swap I'm gonnna give a wild guess at 240 at wheels plus other mods I'll be the very optimistic one at 255 to 260 max.
I hope he gets a dyno sheet.
The horsepower is right is always a fun game show.
