Default Removing headlight for racing...true or false?

I noticed some of the guys at the track remove the passenger side headlight from the Stangs. I get the idea, opening a hole that directly feeds into an aftermarket intake filter. Does it actually help your times? I may try it next week just for grins.

I guess it can't hurt and it takes seconds to do in 99+ cars. If you can make back to back runs all day then give it a shot and do the the average to see if it truly works.

JayC has it done in his sig. I asked him a while back how much it helped and he said that with the JLT Ram air it improves his times. How much, I can not recall.

isnt he running a built motor? lotta difference there dont you think

OP, dont waste your time, youd be better off putting your focus in other places to help your track times, ie: sticky tires, suspension, spray...etc etc complete waste of time
