That would definitely be the way to go... I don't want to beat a dead horse but everyone else is right its salvage you wont get crap for it, just drop in a motor

My advice cut your loses with this one and get rid of it! Don't bother modding or dropping a 4v in it because at the end of the day your car will have a salvage title and you will have spend thousands more and with will be worth ****.

Dump it and live and learn.

wow so much hate.... my car has a salvage title, and structurally, its one of the nicest stangs ive ever seen in person.... 11yr old, 160k miles, salvage title, and theres not a speck of rust on it and it drives as smooth as a brand new car

drivetrain is ****, but that has nothing to do with salvage or not

do any of you guys realize that salvage titles arent always due to being in an accident?

think of theft recovery, or vandalized....guy here bought an 06 gto with a salvage title, someone keyed the whole car, smashed evey piece of glass, and destroyed every panel on the whole car....insurance totalled it, and it was all cosmetic damage...

so much hate...ide hate to see one of you guys getting hurt by tripping as you hop onto the band wagon

you know whats even funnier? i bet theres plenty of people here who bought a car thats been wrecked before and not reported to insurance lol...and yall dont even know the difference

of course salvage cars cost less and are worth less...but it doesnt mean all of them cant be nice cars

between buying that goat, and completely fixing it, he spent $8500 for an ls2 gto with bolt ons and full exhaust...salvage car...never totaled in an accident
