Default Clutch problem

So I noticed today that my clutch slips when im just accelerating in gear. I floored it in 5th on the highway and the rpm's just went up and then back down to where they were supposed to be. I also tried it at 40 in 5th and it did the same thing. I just got a Spec stage 1 clutch in a few months ago and went through the break in period and i put everything back in right. Is there anything i can do to fix this?

if you installed a cable adjuster check and make sure its adjusted properly and not pulling the cable too tight. you need to have some free play.

when i put my spec clutch in they recommended an aftermarket quadrant to replace the crappy stock plastic one. i also istalled a firewall adjuster. i'm not sure but i have heard that unless you do that the spec clutch will not work properly.

ah i did not know that. isnt there something you can do to adjust the clutch like pull the pedal all the way back or something of that nature?

thats about all you can do with the stock quadrant, but if too little freeplay is your problem that wont help. maybe get in contact with spec tech assistance and see what they say.

Its not that I dont mind the no freeplay in the clutch, I just dont know why it slips when the pedal is all the way out. I thought i could change when it disengages so that I know the pedal is all the way out.

if you dont have some freeplay the clutch may not fully engage.
