Default Good deal on new wheels and tires?

Hey guys just got back from our new "Percy's and Speedtweakers" speed shop. And one of the mechanics had a set of wheels and tires for sale in the shop. So i took a look and was talkin to him about them.

REAR: They are Falken 315/25 FK452 tires. And 19' Falken Koblenz wheels. http://www.falkentire.com/Wheels/Pas...eels/Koblenz-8

Front: Falken 255/?? FK452 tires. 18 in wheels.

He wants to sell all 4 to me for 1200 dollars. I got to test em on my car and the rears look SICK!!! Is this a good deal...i really like em.

I personally love those wheels. If they made them in a 10" wide wheel I would have bought those instead of my Cobra's. I say do it, not many people have them and they look sick on our cars. Are they the black ones?

Yea i really like them too. But no they're the chrome DEEP dish ones lol. And yeah ive never seen them on our cars personally. When he put my own rears back on...i was like damn it looks like a V-6 haha. Wide tires are the sh*t.

WTF?! They never used to make the 19x10.5's, the widest rim used to be a 9". Go figure, just my luck.....

But. those 315/25's have got to be pricey, how much tread is left one them and how much do new ones cost?

The two rear tires alone are like 400 a peice. The wheels...nt sure. But the 19s lookd pretty good on the car when i put em on...not too bad.

They are brand new tires...still got numbers and everything on the tread.

If running a 19" (r) & 18" (f), be sure to confirm the tires are a very similar diameter. If you get too much differential, you will set your ABS light off on the dash. Not a huge deal, but your ABS sensors can give you some issues.

Jazzer

PS. If you are looking for a good 1/4 mile times, I would not expect great performance from a 25 series tire. The will look like rubber bands on those wheels though.
