Default Mods for street fun?

To put it plainly, I have ridden in my buddy's wrx several times now and his car just "feels" fast as hell. Maybe it is just the AWD out of the hole since we run the same 1/4 mile time, but I would much rather have that fast feeling out of the hole than the way my car takes off.

Any thoughts on how to help give my car more pep when leaving from a stop sign or red light, etc? Would CAs help much on the street?

Thanks.

spray a mixture of fuel and nitrous into your intake, that would be fun...

4.10s and lower control arms will help you leave quicker.

sounds good, is there any real advantage in going to a panhard bar set-up along with the LCAs? I have a friend selling his cheap but I really don't know anything about them.

I'm not trying to explain everything away but I think when you are riding in someone else's car it feels faster than when you are driving for some reason.

i know what you are saying, but his car feels considerably faster when launching. Like you said, it might just be that i am not driving. Good point.

You mentioned that you guys are running the same E/T's at the track, are you running the same 60' times?

that would definitely be worth it. You can remove your drivers side upper control arm and eventually pair it with a torque arm and remove the other upper ca. That will increase your traction tremendously.

Who is this friend? I'll buy it if you don't want it lol.

Subframe connectors and a strut tower brace will make your car more fun to drive as well

We are actually somewhat close, like 1.9 to a 2.1 but that is at the track. When we are out on a random road I bet it would be more like 2.1 to 3.0 haha. But I know where you are coming from.
