Default senior design intake project

we all know that the 2v intake is a POS, and the aftermarket ones are nothing special either. some of them actually lose power. for my senior design project i want to design a new one. im thinking along the lines of an LS1/LS6 style intake where the throttle body attaches right to it without the need of a plenum.

i need to know what you guys would like to see in an aftermarket intake so i can incorporate the best of everything into a new intake that will actually preform. It will be a year long project where one is actually produced and put on a flow bench..etc.

thanks guys!

Actually the stock intake is good. It is the heads that are the problem. Aftermarket intakes work well, but you have to pair them with the right cam.

the stocker is hard to beat unless you have a blower or head/cam work. my 2c would be to make sure their is plenty of for upgrading larger fuel rails and some sort of ability to adapt for different style of tb's.
