Default New and needing some performance advice

So I finally have the time and money to start messing with the old stang, but im not quite sure where to start. I put Magnaflow exhaust on it and want a little more power but im not looking to make it into a racer. another 50 horses would be nice. Any tips on how to go about it?

Bolt-ons refers to parts that you...bolt-on. Intake, headers, exhaust, plenum spacer, etc.

Full bolt on's = Throttle body, Plenum, Full exhaust, underdrive pulleys, cold air intake (or a drop in K&N), and a tuner.

You could also go cheap and just get the tuner and a 100 shot of nitrous.

Ah ok. Thanks. Definetly not going to put nitrous in her though. What about a decent chip?

I've heard underdrive pulleys aren't dampened and therefore put excess vibration and leverage on the crank. Does that not hold true with these cars?

Also, how does a bigger throttle body affect driveability or doesn't it?

Don't mess with a chip, buy a handheld tuner. This will allow you to have some adjustability. Why not nitrous?

Steeda underdrive pulley's are dampened and are the only ones I would recommend. They actually worked with Ford to produce a crank pulley that doesn't induce the vibration that you are talking about. "Piggy back" style, such as BBK, are the ones that will cause vibration issues.

Nitrous would get you another 75-100 hp fairly cheap.

Full bolt ons would net you 30-40 hp, and with gears and tune would make a huge difference over stock.

The gears alone would make the car faster and alot more fun to drive in general.
