I'm trying to figure out what is the best route to go. I cant decide between getting gears, nitrous, and suspension or just saving some more and wait to go S/C??? Any ideas what would be most beneficial and why???

 

I'd go suspension, gears, supercharger if you have the money. If not go suspension, gears, tune(pending how big a shot), nitrous.

+1^ I would say gears, suspension, then blower. Blowers are much better than nitrous on the street as you always have the power.

Depending on what blower if choose would impact your gear choice. ie. KB blower recommend 3.73s or 3.55s. Centri like Procharger or Vortech 4.10s or 3.73s. Of course you can go in the middle with 3.90s.

 

Gears, S/C, dyno-tune. suspension varies depending on if you just want a blown show car or blown race car.

Also, what are yours goals? just want to make friends drool? have a 11-12 sec car? Show piece? If your not sure, you will want to plan it out even down to the brand of parts, since some don't work with others.

Edit: on a side note, how do you like your LM2s with the o/r x. I was thinking of getting the o/r x with my lm1s, but in case it is ridiculously loud, i was planning on going lm2.

Sounds very good. Everyone always asks me if i have headers and im like no only an o/r mid. I'm sure you will like it.

 

My goals are just to make it a street car but at the same time have fun at the track when that time comes. Also looking to destroy my buddies with an 05 gto(headers,intake) and an 06 300C(full bolt ons and vortech setup).

 

8-10 lbs of boost or a 100 shot of nitrous with gears would probably get the GTO, but a blown 300c? You might be in trouble!
