You could do built rear with 4.10's, slicks/skinnies, longtubes, full suspension, and maybe stage 2 cams and make it to your goal. But the easiest thing to do would probably be the mongoose kit from MPH if you want a more streetable, reliable 12 second ride.

if we are going the route of cheep lol, you could get in the 12s with full bolt ons, which is about 1500? with exhaust? not totally sure, then do gears 4.10s about 500. and then do big and littles, what ever that runs you, because if my car with factory wheels and bolt ons can run 13.39 without gears or slicks then im sure with better rims gears and slicks 12s would be cake. just run 1/4 tank of gas and power shift, high 12s easy.

just realized thats probebly not as cheep as i thought lol. so redo, bolt ons, gears, factory rims and tires with a set of slicks on the back, saves you a ton of money, then strip your cars interior remove your front sway bar run 1/8 tank of gas and bingo, 12s, and if that doesnt do it you can remove the trunk and the doors....maybe the hood heard that thing weights a ton

the words "cheap" and "12 sec 1/4" dont mix well. i did 12.9 on my old 2000gt with fullbolt ons and mt's. if you really really want cheap then go nitrous, gears and tires with some suspension mods, thats the cheapest you will get. remember the saying "you gotta pay to play"
