Default Need fast clutch advice

So I drove to work this morning and all was normal. I go back out to the car to run an errand and start her up set there for a min to warm up, push the clutch in to put in reverse and the clutch wasn't enguaging enough to put into gear. So I get under the dash and reach up to feel the cable and its like seriously loose. What the heck happened and how do I fix it? Do I pull the cable out from the firewall and just shorten it?
BTW I have the clutch quadrant and firewall adjuster from americanmuscle.com

haha yeah you spent the money on that mod for this reason and this is why even though you wont feel it its worth it. open hood, turn adjuster, you can set it to grab right where you want it to.

do you have a double or triple hook quad ?.....maybe it changed hooks on ya...try to screw the adj. all the way in and then try to hook the cable on the closest hook toward the drivers seat that it'll reach

Huh. I have a similar problem. My clutch pedal kinda bounces back and forth about an inch or so for a few days at random times. It was like this for about 3 days and then stopped a few months ago and is doing it again. Its really weird but it used to have absolutely no play and now has about an inch of play... wtf.
