LOL there is so much brand myopia. ALL short throw shifters are pretty much the same. Pro-50 and steeda are the same design and feel identical. MGW makes theirs so the handle can swivel. That is the difference.

The way I see it, they all do the same thing and do it well. I dont like the MGW because of the hand swivel, to me that is just one more thing to come loose while driving. I got on my local forum and just waited untill someone had a short throw for sale. I got my tri-ax from an old man with a v6 whos car flooded. 70 bucks for a shifter FTW. Just get the cheapest NAME BRAND shifter you can find, they will all do just fine.

i ended up going with the 5.0 just for an update. I love it its great. I have no idea what the hell people were talking about saying it was going all the way into gear? Its smoother that ever.

pro 5.0=notchy and entirely too short. dont get enough leverage to slam the **** outta the gears but the center aligning springs are stiff as hell and bring that thing right to center for the 2-3 shift. Triax=smooth and perfect throw. You have more leverage with the triax and its a lot smoother daily driving and self centers perfectly. No experience with MGW yet but ive heard nothing but great things about them. Would have gotten one if my triax didnt come in at $50. lol

I can't speak for the other shifters, but i have the Steeda Tri-Ax, and have had no desire to switch. I can powershift as fast as i want with total confidence. Yet it's decent enough for daily driving.
