Stock is 2.25" not 2" but yes, that is part of the gain of doing the exhaust is the extra .25" of flow. But if you wanna try it, by all means. Your car and time.

Anything is possible but you will also need a pipe bender. It is much better to just buy a shorty mid pipe.

I cut my mac lt's at the ball flange but I went to a 3" exhaust. Because of the stock h pipe design it will be hard to make it work.
