Default Planning on Trip to get dyno tuned!!!

Ok well I have done a little research and narrowed it downed to Modular Powerhouse in Georgia. Is there anything I should to prep before I make the trip? Im planning on going down there Friday this week to get my car dyno tuned.

Make sure you have 91 or 93 octane(if you can get it) from a reputable gas station and not some joes gas station.

I plan on getting my car dyno tuned this week too! Cant wait!

Let me know your numbers when you get them.. Just curious.. I always fill up at shell with 93.. Would a little 110 hurt my car? Like 2 gallons.

youd be ok with 110. Just like using 93 on a stock GT no benefit unless u tune for it

You should try to use the gas type where you live.make sure your plugs and plug wires or good and gap right, also change out your gas and air filter. You might as well change the oil also.In other words just make sure that you take a car that is ready to be dyno tuned.

Well, I found a great place with awesome people. MPH is great Modular Power House in Carterville, Ga. It was well worth the drive even though I had a bad day.. It started out good my baseline was 247 hp 261tq.. Got it to 267hp and 285tq.. The bad news is I lifted a head or my intake is screwed.. He said I was losing anywhere from 20 to 30 horses because of the problem.. Basically I keep getting a alot of air in the cooling system. If anyone has any suggestions Im all ears. The problem was so bad we just pushed it off the dyno and I loaded it up.. Didnt get to do a nitrous pull.

Either buy or borrow a tool to pressurize the cooling system and see what you have leaking. Chances are if you are getting "air" you have a bad head gasket. I think it is O'reillys that has a kit you can buy to detect exhaust in the coolant.
