Going nuts! 04 Mustang Cobra vs. 06 Saleen/Roush
Hey guys well im trading in my 06 Silverado ext Cab Z71 for a eithier a 04 Mustang Cobra or a 05+ saleen/Roush I wanted to know what you guys would think would be best for me! I want a nice riding and handling car my 01 GT is great but the Steeda Lowering springs get old after 200 mile trip! Which car would be powerful and the most comfortable as far as room and everything or what about buying a newer GT and Supercharging it! This car will be a daily Driver and get driven what would also hold up the most and feel the best while doing it! Any Suggestions?

Hard Decision you have to make!! I have ALWAYS wanted a 2003 Cobra...Looks, Power, SEx!! But i sat in an 06 Saleen the Interior was amazing compared to the new edges. I honestly dont know what to do lol, they are two BEAUTIFUL Cars!!
I would decide what you want most! I think the 06 Saleen can win Carshows(Interior is way nicer than newedge's). But the 03 Cobra Can Touch the 600whp range alot easier!

well I already have a new edge 01 gt with bolt ons and hate the GT seats does the IRS really make ur cobra more smooth over bumps and on interstates? I heard the new GT's ride better than the new edges, but If i got a saleen it would have to be N/A i wish I could find an auto in the saleen or roush because I drive in the city alot, but dont know where to really look for one most of them are manual. I do like manuals but i just drive to much! But the manual to me in the cobra is like ill live with it for the termi motor! If i got a saleen i would probably do a supercharger within 3 to 4 weeks wish i could afford a supercharged saleen ! i dont want to spend no more than 23k

If i had to choose between the choices, i would have to say the 04 cobra. So much more potential than the others. Also, for the price you can get the cobra vs what you will pay for say the saleen, you will be able to mod it quite nicely....
Why not lose the steeda springs and drive the GT everyday and keep the new mustang as a week end car? Why put miles/wear and tear on a bad @*** car and have your GT sit in the garage?

i wouldn't want either of these as a DD.
a terminator just really shouldn't be a DD IMO. and if it is, it should be minimal.
why not look at a nice luxury car?
if you are stuck between the two, then i would go with the 05+, but only because of your situation.

Guy was just selling his 2006 Saleen GT. Blown, Built with 30kmiles for 23k OBO... It was the Mineral Gray looked sooo nice lol.

If speed is not what you are after I would go with the newer car. As termi would be faster and cheaper to mod.
