Default Signs of a worn out blower

So one of my friends says my V1 sounds like it has shaft play in it because when I get into the upper RPMS it almost sounds like a a bandsaw (I am not sure how accurate this comparison is) . I took the blower off and the shaft does not move side to side or back and forth at all. Since its a V1 I assume its supposed to be loud but I want to make sure the blower is ok before I put it on my new motor. Any input on what to look for would be great..

It definately doesnt sound like a belt slipping, its kind of hard to explain the sound. Honestly I think its just the normal loud V1, but my friend thinks differently.

It's probably normal. Mine sounded almost like a big rig spooling up when it was reved up.
