Default cobra or not?

SO i saw this mustang for sale $6000 went to check it out... It has the cobra on the side and it says cobra on the back. 5 speed manual 92000 miles. Then I popped the hood and it looked to be a mustang gt engine. He said he had a new engine put it that was from some company and was built to handle a supercharger because thats what he wanted to do. I asked him if the car was a gt with a cobra body kit but he said if I checked the vin it would show it was a cobra... Why would he have what looks to be exactly like a 1997 mustang gt engine instead of keeping the cobra engine?

it has the cobra hood on it so either some one made a fobra or they blew the stock motor and put in gt motor

Check the steering wheel, most people miss it when they do a fobra, should say cobra, and last, least and most importantly, take pics of the engine bay, come back post them up, Guy could have just destroyed his **** bought a 2v motor for $200 and dropped it in.

Love Cobra's, but I'd stay away from this one...

Why look at the redline, I think those cobras had white faces gauges.

OP, did the brakes say cobra or nothing at all.

Either way, stay away from cars that someone else builds. Why would anyone trust someone that puts a GT engine in a Cobra, built or not.
