like it was said earlier, suspension would do wonders. But it's hard to say what you are doing wrong without more info. I would suggest driving around the waterbox and back into it. Turn the tires over in the waterbox (just enough to get them wet, don't sling water all up in your wheel wells, it'll drop down on the tires when you launch). Pull forward, out the water, and do a nice burnout. IMO there is no need for a 10-15 second burnout. I do a 4-5 second burnout, release the brakes and roll up while burning the tires (trust me if you do it right there will be enough heat and smoke to make you feel like John Force ). I also don't see any benefit in running 15psi, it's not like the tire is designed to wrinkle. Underinflating the tire will make it try to ride on the outer edges. I got a 1.60 60' with 21.5 psi and a short burnout as I described.
Track prep and how you work the clutch (assuming you have a standard) play a huge role as well.

Thanks guys, Im getting my control arms put on today.. Also is the eibach pro kit hurting me? Im going to get some fox body struts and shocks today also.. To answer the track question I talked to some local people and he doesnt prep the track anymore for test and tune night only on saturday night when the class races are going on...Last year he did prep the track so..I guess I will be driving the extra minutes to go to another track which is not a big deal.. Let me know if the fox body struts and stuff are bad idea or the pro kit. Thanks

Are you dumping or slipping the clutch? I'm still working on it myself, but I'm slipping at least to the 60', sometimes past. The best I've cut is a 1.95, and the only suspension work I have are strange 10 ways all around. And like 01GT4.6 said, there's no need for a 10-15 sec. burnout. I usually do about 5, let off the brakes and then roll out of the gas.

people don't realize how much heat you can create on a GOOD short burnout. Check out my video and go to :45 (that is my nitto burnout)

Definitely try slipping the clutch, it's worked well for me.
