Why in the world would you buy something and have to modify it from teh start just so it can work as well as it's supposed to when you first buy. Don't seem right to me.

because they are alot cheaper than factory and they look better. I didnt buy mine from AM, i bought them from a guy who got them from AM, i paid WAY less then what they cost on AM. So i am more than pleased with the results for what i paid.

+1 i paid less than $100 for my smoked headlights. i'm going to have to seal them before putting them on my car, but i have no problem doing a little extra work to save some money. and it's mostly a cosmetic part anyway. i wouldn't dare go cheap on a performance or mechanical part.

yea, i'd rather spend 4 bucks and 10 minutes of my time, rather than blow an extra hundred for the same thing...

IIRC, I paid $180 for my headlights. No issues yet and it's been two years. I'm kinda gun shy about HIDs. Why mess with something that already works, lol.

i didnt really read the thread, but good call going with ebay... ebay and AM supposedly get them from the same place... i wish i knew before i spent $188 on the AM ones. and i sealed mine..i sealed them for peace of mind. plus, you cant even see where the sealant goes so its not a big deal

HID's are a must with smoked lights..

sxynerd, just do it. get HID's... you'll kick yourself for not doing it sooner
