You will not get a full-sized spare in the well.

You need to measure the diameter/depth of the hole and figure it out. I picked up a Cobra spare as it has some extra room for my brakes and a bit larger diameter than the stock spare.

What do you mean way too small? What rims do you have on your car?

front has a 17inch and read is 18 inch.. but its just the tire even when fully inflated the tire looks flat.. like it's too weak(small) for my car... i just want to buy a rim that fits in the spare tire compartment so it will last longer in an emergency and doesn't look like sh*t...

too small huh.... I've seen guys use that rim on the front for drag racing.

Ford just throws an unsafe size spare in the back huh, comeon guys use some common sense.

185/60-17 d=25.74, its only about an inch and a half different from stock diameter.

And I'm pretty sure a stock diameter tire will fit in the wheel well as I put my DRs on 18s in the spare well when I drove to the track in the rain.

Of course a stock rim and tire will fit in the trunk, but you wont be able to put the cover over it and still have all your trunk space. The TS is running staggered sizes, so to do it "right" he'd have to have an extra 17 and 18 back there. Which would def. lead no room for anything else... I'd just look into a AAA card if it were me

OP is referring to an SN95 and doesn't have as much room as an S197.

Again... measure the diameter/depth of the spare tire well and go from there. You cannot get a tire as large as either of your existing to fit in the space provided. Besides, how often to you plan on getting a flat? Who cares what it looks like for the time you have to be driving on it. I carried a spare around in my '85 GT for over 20 years and used it a single time for about 45 minutes.
