Magnaflow makes a great product. The regular magnaflow catback with an O/R pipe sounds great IMO.

your car is an exception to the rule here. the cams make up for it and yeah i f'd up and put a x pipe on it.

I was about to get the Magnapacks myself but after doing a little research I found the SSS Catback. It sounds very similar to Borla Stingers, I'd recommend that any day over Magnaflow or Magnapacks. The SSS is $380 Shipped through Stage 3 Motor Sports

Magnaflow sounds great with an O/R X as well. I just think it's the goofy roush configuration that made yours sound different.

In my opinon, you shouldnt be worried about how much a muffler flows until you make enough power to feel the difference in how much your mufflers flow. On an otherwise stock car with the usual bolt ons, you feel the difference in how much air your mufflers flow. Id first get it to the point where you would feel a difference in how much your mufflers flow before you need to be worried about that problem. lol But both the packs and regular magnaflow mufflers flow relativly the same.

ok so... am a college student and with school in such for this summer ill only be able to afford 1 of the following: pipes or catback.

Question 1: Which should be done first?

Question 2: what skill level are the o/r pipes or h pipes? & are they legal in both IA & MN??
