I bought a replacement from ebay and followed the instructions and still won't work. I can get it into programming mode using the 8 times from off to run. But when I push the buttons on either old or new transmitter it won't cycle with the lock/unlock. After I turn the ignition back to off the old one still works. I have to be missing something. Even pushing buttons on the old one makes no difference in the reprogramming. At a loss now.

Thanks for that...I see what I was missing now. I wasn't holding the lock button while doing the key off/run thing.

Edit: Went out and tried that and still no dice. My guess is the remote I was sent is either bad or not for my car. So I have sent an email to the seller. They said they will send out a replacement. Thanks again for that link.
