Default Is this a good deal? 98GT for $7500

Hey all...

What's everyone's opinion?

Is this a good deal? I might go look at it Sunday...said he'll sell it for $7500 cash and include 4 snows. I think I'd rather not take the snows and pay less...

Thoughts?

In my opinion just save more money and get a 99+ GT with less miles, just my opinion... you can check if the price is right just by going to http://www.kbb.com/
get the value and substract like $500.. dont pay more than that.. good luck

What do you want a stang for? Do you wanna build it up or do you like the looks of that body style? If you're looking for speed ultimatley and you've got that much to spend you can get a very nice for for half that then have the other half to put into it and you'd have a real nice ride. If that's what you want it doesn't sound that bad, just remember the basics of buying used cars. Don't pay what they ask without a fight

I got almost the exact same car (different rims, but everything else the same). Mine had a bout 50,000 miles on it, all options, everything was in perfect condition, never modified (or it appeared so), extended warranty..new Kuhmos all around for a grand more than he's asking, and this was from a dealer, not a private sale.

If you like the body style, definitely look for a '99+ Mustang so you get the PI heads and don't have to worry about the swap later. Otherwise, you can find a really nice fox with that kind of money.

I have read on here by several different people that the '97 and the '98 model mustangs were the slowest modern mustang ever built. You aught to invest your money in a newer one and go from there with it. I bought my '02 GT with 30,000 for $15,000. I am very satisified with it.

Also a better site to visit is WWW.NADA.COM The dealers never use Kelly Blue Book any more and if you argue with anyone that the car is valued cheaper on KBB they will tell you to shove it. Just a little advice.

Hi, i have a 98 GT. I bought it with 36,000 miles for 8,000 solid. I regret it now. I should have spent that money on a 5.0. I love the looks of my car it sounds mean as hell. But it isnt very fast. belive me i know.
