Well not everyone wants a track monster. I mean i think that they sound different cus i have the flowmaster catback and my friend has the weld in mufflers and there is a sound difference between us with the same midpipe. Exhaust on our cars is more for sound preference than anything else until you get to 400hp or so...or are blown. So really, if you want to get weld in mufflers, go right ahead. But the catback will sound different. But like said^^^you wont feel the difference of just the mufflers. So if youre doing it for feel, why bother changing them at all.

+1 on the weld ins. they sound exactly the same as the catback IMO and they cost 1/4 of the price
