nah, i'm just going to run the speakers to the head unit (alpine, internal amp) and use the stock wires- not really putting enough power through it to bother with thicker gauge wire or anything. i'll be putting in an amp in the future though but it'll sound good for now this way.

Nice job on the lights. I just did the same thing, but without the 3M kit. I used some 1500 grit sandpaper, a DA buffer and some compound. You can see the results here: https://mustangforums.com/forum/deta...light-fix.html

IF you have the mach460 and they are being ran through the stock amps, you will need to run them bi channel because the Mach amps run at 2ohm and those run at 3.6 or 4ohm IDR which. (you'll loose side to side or front to back controls doing it that way though) If you run them by just plug and play, you'll ruin the speakers, the amp or the head unit.

If you can take them back, get a set of Infinity KAPA 2ohm components. they sound alright.

i don't have the 460. i just have the normal plain jane system, so everything should be alright. i am splicing in the wires with butt connectors to change them to the right connections. the standard system doesn't have the external amplifiers so this is going to work just fine.
