Default Purchasing advice

Well, I think its a great opportunity that I shouldn't pass up, but I'll ask some advice from you 4.6 guys anyway. I have the chance to by a 2004 GT, white convertible with some nice Cobra chrome wheels. Mach sound system, 32,000 miles, driven by an older guy who really babied it and took good care of it, garage kept all that good stuff. He's asking 12,500 for it. I think its a great deal personally.

Thanks guys. I just haven't seen one with that low miles around here. One at the carlot down the street for 15.5 and had 51K miles on it.

Carfax it first, always. Even with the miles you never know, trust me on that.

Yeah I mean I'd like to get a nice one that hasnt had the crap ran out of it. The guy that owns it is probably in his 60s I'd say and has really babied it. I dunno, its a tough call, I love my sixer but I think its time for a GT. Thought about going way in debt to buy a real nice Termi or 05+ but then I couldnt mod it at all, wouldnt have any extra money after a 400 or 500 bux a month payment.

A sixer to a GT is a night and day difference. Try and jew him down a little bit more, call insurance see how hard it will be to pay for the car and all the mods you will and be wanting to do and do it. I love my sixer too, but not that much to keep it over a v8. If i could not have two stangs, i think its pretty obvious which one i would get rid of first.....
