Default good place for 4.6 rebuild kit??

ok so my 4.6 with a 1000 miles on it took a dump. pistons shatterd and rings toast? dont ask me how.
specs
pi heads and intake on a ford short block with stock rods and pistons (h591cp)

where is a good place to get a rebuild kit? or forged kit? i am looking to keep it to a budget and try to get all i need in one place

Well id go looking for a non-pi engine and then buy yourself some pi heads. It would probably be cheaper that way and just keep your motor somewhere at home since i see you have a saleen.

Why not a get a 01 to a 04 moter out of wreck mustang. After you buy all the stuff you need and have the block work over just might be better off with the pi motor.

my block is a no pi block the heads and intake were put on buy ford. and 1000 miles later the rings collapsed and the pistons shatted.

I am lookin to build something that can take boost. and i was told that the stock rods cant take more then 400hp

what are the limits of the pistons??? Hypereutectic??

IS FORD BACKING THEIR WORK! Thats a little ridiculous if you ask me, I hope this gets taken care of for you. Open up a MM&FF magazine and there is a million ads for forged kits. DSS is one you could try.
