Violators sound awesome. I really think im gonna get me some of them to go with my pypes o/r x pipe because they sound so much better than the flowmasters. And it will be a different kinda rasp with the straight through muffler over the chambered muffler.

What i've noticed, in general, is that really loud straight through style mufflers (slp 1, terminator sss, etc.) sound REALLY raspy and loud with an o/r h, but not as bad with an o/r x. Usually better overall with a catted x or h IMO!

Chambered style mufflers do tend to sound louder inside the car, but not as bad as straight through's on the outside, from what i've seen.

BTW, i keep hearing how great the violaters sound, but i've never heard them in person. What are they comparable to?

HOOKER mufflers FTW, with JBA shorties and a JBA catted mid, and you'll barely be able to hear it

vs

both at idle

this is a LONG *** time ago with Steeda pipes on it, from underneath the car, from when I first bought it

quiet exhaust on the daily is nice... i daily drove the stang, now im daily driving my truck with stock exhaust....truck is much nicer....for a toy though, loud is good...but only if you get a nice cam(s) to enhance it...stang will have 3" o/r x with dynomax bullets dumped at the axle lol
