I just bought a 100% stock 03 gt and went to the track last night for the first time in several years. First time ever in a manual car. The best I could get was 15.14 with 60ft ranging from 2.3-2.6 which is obviously bad. This of course was on street tires.

I've seen the "12's" post but all I want is mid 13's on street tires. Obviously I've got ground to make up in the 60 just by learning to drive.

Driver mod, short throw, drag radials, upper and lower control arms, gears and a tuner. Depending on how well you can master the driver mod, this should get you real close to mid 13's.

 

That's too much... If its a 5speed you shuld be able to go your mid 13s with gears and exhaust only. If its an auto, gears exhaust and some trans work...

 

Fwiw my bone stock 02 would go 13.7s all day. Gears exhaust and suspension work got it down to 13.1s

 

Yea but not everyone has a factory freak like you. Not everyone can drive the car to its fullest potential. You might also want to mention the fact that you've been through 3 (?) transmissions now....

The guy said that he ran low 15 at best, IMO he's gonna need everything I had listed if not more.

 

Yea i went w/ all my mods about a week ago and ran my 14.2's all night. You need to learn how to drive and some slight mods and you'll be in the 13's no problem.

the cars not a factory freak....and yea ive broken 2 transmissions lol... and now 1 motor....

however... a few 13.7x passes didnt do that... 50,000 miles of beating the **** out of the car did it

 

gears and a few bolt ons outta do the trick..assuming you get the Driver mod as well

I definitely need seat time. I didn't expect much out of myself though being 8ish years since I've been and my first 5 speed car. Funny I bought this car just to cruise around with my boys (2 and 5) and drive to work. Now I've spent probably 5 hrs on the web since last nights runs researching what I want to do to this thing.
