Thanks again for all the reply's. I was impressed with how many reply's this got in a short period of time. I've got an idea now what I'm going to throw at it on top of get a clean 60ft run.

A few last things. My speed was 93-94. I should have put that in the original post.

Is one cai quieter than the other?

Are pulleys worth it? I expect some debate on this one.

I've been reading on the quiet exhaust thread some. Is it possible to have a reasonable exhaust with an o/r x or h pipe? I want louder than stock but again this is a driver and I drive 30+ minutes to work.

Are there specific x/h pipes for long tubes or is their an additional piece that goes from the header to the h pipe?

I read on this site that I should be shifting at 5800ish. To me it feels like it's running out of breath by then. Maybe I'm wrong.

I do not believe there are any other additions from headers to the mid-pipe.

Well redline is 5800 on the GT's......but if you feel like it can make a good jump by shifting, then by all means do it. I have an auto now, so i don't do much shifting anymore

5800 is too high. You would want to shift at (or just before/after) your peak horsepower, which might be around 5k or so.

UDPs do add a few HP to your car. Not sure what your definition of worth it is but if you just want times in the 13s then I don't think they are necessary but would help.

O/R H pipes are not as loud as X pipes, well I should say not as aggressive sounding. If you want an exhaust without it being to annoying on long drives home, I would look at getting an O/R H pipe, LTs and a catback exhaust. Check out youtube for how different catbacks sound.

The catback hooks into the mid pipe (either X or H) and the mid pipe connects to the headers which then goes into the exhaust ports. Here is a good article describing the Mustang exhaust:
http://www.americanmuscle.com/unders...t-systems.html

And like said before, if you feel your car is "running out of breath" at 5800rpm then shift before that.

Hope this helps.

I think, and I say think because I dont have actual dyno proof, most of my gains came when I installed the TB, upper intake plennum, and installed my Delta Force tune. I would image the vast majority of power from bolt ons come from the xpipe and tune. So running a 14.05 if thats all you have, sounds good to me.
