Default Going through gears in auto?

I am wondering if anyone know if it is a good idea to go through the gears in an auto when racing. Any suggestions on how to run it are welcome, o/d off or on? go through gears? hopefully someone has tested times with the differences.

you'll be fine manually selecting gears, i would highly suggest turning off overdrive when doing this though, going WOT then shifting to O/D is not a good idea.

Shift kits are ok, they firm up the shifting, but you should do the j-mod, much better overall mod than just a shift kit.

Dont manually shift the gears, you have an auto.. let it work. Just turn OD off and step on it.

Turn traction control off too correct?

Also, is the jmod a free mod that you can do yourself?
