yeah it most likely won't hit o/d, but why risk it? It's not a 10 step process to turn it off...it's just a button you press.

if you really want to feel a difference get gears and a tuner and change the shift points and the shift firmness that will be your best bet

edit just seen that you already had those so just change the shift points and shift firmness on the tuner

manually shifting i doubt is any faster than leaving it in drive and mashing the gas. I only used it when it's slippery and going downhill while i was living in new york.
I do the same thing here in NY... gives you more power going up the hill or down the hill.

I have both, but that is something else I need education on...lol. Not sure how firm and where to set shift points at, they dyno tuned my car and really didnt mess with that. Should I set my shift point to shift right where my peak hp is based on my dyno?

I just got a reply from steven@vapauto.com and he does not carry the valve bodies anymore. He will still offer the mail-in service though.

i am not sure how the diablo works but yes i would set it up to shift right after you make your max power so you use your whole power band
