this^^^

I can't say that I've seen a lot of superchargers off the motor before, but that thing looks freaking gigantic.

I realize that a 2.8 is a pretty good size unit, but are most of them anywhere near that size?

well, i p[lanned to have it all together and running by now, but you know how these things go...

I have a few more things i need to pick up( elec water pump, fuel lines, injectors, 8 rib PS and AC pulleys, and i thing that is it..)
I really thought my heads would have come in last week, but they didnt, i guess i should see them this week some time. Then it will just be the task of having time to put everything together and install it. After that shell be running.

I'd like to see this thing running in 2 months or less. I got alot of work ahead of me...

yea, the 2v kit is huge! the blower itself is big, but when you bolt on the manifolds, ect... A new found respect for the shear size of this thing is found. I'll try to get some pics with the tape measure for yall. Prolly sits 14" tall or so and 12" wide(guestamates)
Weighs about 90lbs assembled

Yea, it looked like with the intake manifold under there, that it is HUGE.

How much clearance do you have under the hood? I would imagine it's got to be close even with the hood you have on your car now. No way it'd fit a stocker.

yup. When i put everything in the car, he is going to send me a mailed tune so i can get it running and drive it around to break in the motor. I just cant hit boost. Then once it is nice and broke in, ill bring it to him so we can see what she will do.

It should fit under this hood. There are 2 guys on SVT performance that are running this setup with a 2.5 cowl hood and it fits. Its prolly close though. I have some pics or their engine bays on my home comp. I will post them when i get off work so yall can see. It really looks good sitting on top of a 2v motor.

well, that's a good thing, cause then you don't have to worry about safety as much when you run a 13 second quarter mile at 140mph
