supercharger would boost you up, but not 400hp. you'd pop the top first. i just bought a teksd 4.6L engine, rated to 900hp, what comes stock in my cobra, i got it from a lincoln, mark vii. its a 4v. you'll see alot more gains out of a 4v than your two, and its twice as strong and comes with a forged block. if you can get your hands on one, thats the block you need to get. forge it and you could have a H*ll of a machine on your hands. The bolt ons with the super get in the way sometimes.. like under drive pullies, you can use them, and sometimes just aren't worth the money or again compatible. charger is the best bang for HP. or you could always turbo it, even better, but twice as expensive, and three times as hard for install. "WE" <i emphasize with a N/A build.. don't do much, 10k you may gain 100/150hp. i don't have 10k to spend for an na build. so supercharge with some extras for half the price, you could get 600hp.
