How long have you had your car? You haven't checked for any aftermarket parts?

what years were the z28's??? If they were 99-02, maybe. But if they were before that, they had the lt1 and they suck ***. A new edge will beat one of those things. been in the car with my friend on multiple occasions and he kicked many of them to the curb. But i dyno'd my car and its otherwise stock and it made 249rwhp. Not too hateful for a cai, o/r x pipe, and flowmasters...with a tune of course.

No biggy, but 98 is actually first year of ls1. OP, were they curvy or pointy?

Lt1's are not that sh*tty. I have seen a intake/catback lt1 waste many bolt on 2v's.

I can agree with you, their not great by any means. Their one of the hardest motors I ever worked on, but the fact is LT's can still walk bolt on 2v's.

I raise the BS Flag on OP because I highly doubt he is going to run into 3 sh*tty camaro drivers in a row. When I had my 96 lt, I would walk full bolt on 2v's with just a intake/catback/gears.

any of the lt/ls camaros with gears better walk a bolt on gt. lol thats just a given. but its still possible for them to be worn out older cars that have lost power or something.
