Exclamation Best Brakes & Rotors to buy

Hey Guys....

Im just wondering what type of brake pads I should buy... the stang is a DD. I need to replace the pads very soon here. I want ceramic pads but idk what brand is the best buy for the buck. In addition what are your thoughts about what type of rotors to buy as well. Thanks in advanced.

I am about to either buy EBC redstuff pads or the hawk pads. I hear good things about both.

IDK, how about you use the search function? There are probably five different threads in the last four months on which brakes to get, why start a new one?

There might be 5 posts a day that are somewhat new questions.... The other 40 that get posted i could search and find 10 of them for the last month....

Plus maybe someone new joins the forums with a better perspective on the question and can give more insight?

I normally just learn to NOT click on the link to look at the thread. Specially all of the 3.73 or 4.10's... lol

to OP, havnt heard much bad about Hawk...

Probably going to be trying hawk pads myself next week. I'll let you know what I think if you still haven't decided by then.

I run Hawk HPS pads and like them. Some say they dust more than others, but I haven't had that experience. Dust is minimal to normal.

Yeah... I've briefly heard of Hawk pads. I see that American Muscle has (Hawk Ceramic Brake Pads) for $79.99 (rear) and $89.99 (front). is that about the cheapest price around??? Then for the rotors... when is a good time or when does one know when to replace rotors? Thanks guys
