What transmission fluid should I use on my rebuilt T-45?
I just had my transmission rebuilt and I was wondering what transmission fluid I should go with? I kind of want to go to with synthetic but since the t45 is a pain I want what is best for the trans. Thanks.

GM's synchromesh with mercon 3 is the smoothest shifting tranny fluid apparently. So id try that. Im thinking about getting rid of the amsoil thats in the tranny now for some just to see if i notice a difference.

Yes i read the post. Which is why i linked to it so that the OP could get GOOD information...not just hear-say like what i was going off of. So i posted for accurate information...not cus it supported what i said. So relax a little bit man. Im running amsoil right now so i guess id be taking a step backwards by going to synchromesh.

I still think im gonna drain out the tranny fluid and put new in just for safe measure...cus ive been power shifting and stuff like that and i wanna see if there is any metal shavings in the fluid or anything cus the tranny seems to be getting rougher and rougher.
