I just listened to your clip. I WANT CAMS soooo bad. should I get headers first? or should i just slap the midpipe and go for cams instead. Also do you do installation yourself?

I went to Boston Dyno in Malden. (just google Boston Dyno)

All i did was get a baseline dyno run so I'm not sure what they use to tune it.

thanks for the info on the shop i'll give em a call.

as for the cams. i would just get the cams along with the midpipe. headers are just a supporting mod for the cams. i did everything else before the cams and didn't feel any difference. if you have the money do the headers and cams at the same time, but if u just want the cams shorty headers aren't really going to help out that much. longtubes will help out alittle more than shorties, but if i did it all over again i wouldn't have done shorties at all because if u do the install urself it is an absolute pain in the butt and for the minimal gains not worth it in my opinion.

jesus 600 for a dyno tune?!?!?! does that sound right? seems pretty expensive to me. also i called a bunch of shops and a majority of them use the preditor software. i thought the SCT software was prefered software to use.

oh ya......if any of you mass guys use sct and want ur car tuned cheap; Boston dyno is trying to get a dyno day going for all those people who have sct tuners. the guy said that he is going to call around to the local shops and see what they charge for a tune using sct and undercut that by 200 dollars. sounds good i just cait wait that long.

Performance Automotive in Plymouth MA talk to Travis you are looking at $250 for a dyno tune and they do SCT, Sniper, Diabolo, etc. They are who I trust my car with. Stay away from Leonard's Performance Shop in Tauton MA they are awful and he will up charge you to death.
